Service Work at Work

Food Club Day

On the first Friday of every month, we hold a Food Value Club day in conjunction with St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank. Our service Learning coordinator started this. As the PSA president, I have put a lot of effort in to promoting this and getting volunteers out to work.


This is me taping a box together. We go through dozens of grocery bags and boxes to pack the food for the community members who come out.

This also provides a good opportunity for students to provide service to the community.

It's a lot of work, but it's great to be able to help people.
